This is a gorgeous pair of opera glasses or small binoculars, made in the late Victorian period. The embossed decoration of bids and berries reflects the Victorian people’s love of nature.
These are in very good condition. The lenses are free of chips or cracks, There are a few spots where the metal has oxidised with some paint on the body, on the eye pieces and at the other end, on the brass part.
