Original British army Bakelite Compass Magnetic Marching Mark 1 T.G.Co Ltd. Condition is Used and in good working order. Square in shape, with a smooth opening hinge.
The rear of the compass reads ‘The Gramophone Co. Ltd. London’, which is the rarer of the two compasses made, the more common version reads only ‘TGC’.
The luminous dial stills glows, and the compass still moves freely without restriction.
The hoop atop of the compass wraps around the top of the compass, making it a tidy addition to the collection.
