Large Silver Nurse Buckles.

Made in Sterling Silver, these beautifully delicate buckles have aged perfectly.

Nurses buckles were used back in 19th and 20th Century by registered Nurses as the only personalised part of their uniform and were attached to a belt at the font of their uniform. They came in various eye-catching designs and were typically quite detailed. While the nurses uniform was relatively plain and conservative, these buckles added a touch of the beautiful.

This particular buckle boasts a gorgeous floral design and displays superb detailing over its entirety. It is made from Sterling Silver. The arrow by the hook of the buckles indicates this was worn by nurse in the military.
