In the Star Trek universe, the Borg were almost the ultimate enemy, they were a cold, unfeeling race intent on the assimilation of every race they deemed advantageous to their collective.
Attend any Star Trek convention, and you will no doubt see ‘trekkies’ putting their own spin on the Borg character. The popularity of this seemingly invincible enemy in the Next Generation and Voyager series, is certainly the complexity of the costume, from pincers in the place of hands to ocular implants laden with wires tubes, the Borg image is always easily recognisable.
This helmet in particular is a fan made example, but to a high standard. Using multiple materials, textures and colours to brilliantly replicate the Borg look.
If the excellent of the build wasn’t enough, this helmet has been signed by the original Borg Queen herself – Alice Krige. Alice Krige played the antagonist in ‘Star Trek – First Contact’ as well as the Borg Queen in ‘Star Trek – Voyager’.
